May - October


The Top End: Darwin, Katherine, Kakadu and Arnhem Land, has a tropical climate with two seasons: the Dry and the Wet. Each season lasts for about six months.

The Red Centre: Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and the Uluru region.


North (Top End): Warm, tropical climate. Dry and wet seasons last for about six months each.

South (Red Centre): Dry and semi-arid. All four seasons are experienced with hot summers and frosty Winter nights.
